'King of Tomorrow' hails the return of the ukulele to popular music!

This debut release is by alternative country artiste Mike Summers and Suffolk-based folkies 'The Doons'. The constable combo have fused country, folk and swing for this 4 track EP.
As the former front man of indie-country act ‘Buffalo Road’, Mike released 2 well-received albums in the early 1990's, and is reunited with Ipswich’s own Backwater Records for this EP.
Along with ‘King of Tomorrow’ this 4-Track EP also contains three other Mike Summers compositions; ‘Blue Memories’, ‘Open Roads’ and the haunting ‘Long Black Train’.
Along with Mike on vocals, guitar and ukulele are; Chris Ratcliffe on bass, Dave Bell on bouzouki and Ivan Armsby on accordion. Featured guest artiste on ‘King of Tomorrow’ is Trummy Mayhew on trombone.
